> Northeast Dining, Wine & Spas

Exceptional food and wine have always been memorable parts of the
best travel experiences. Dining at a Vermont Select Registry bed
and breakfast inn is as important to us as it is to our guests.
Our Maine inns and New Hampshire bed and breakfast inns offer a
delectable dining experience that you'll be sure to remember. Travelers
are increasingly looking for relaxation, pampering, massage therapy
and spa services when they getaway for vacation or while on business
trips. A growing number of Select Registry inns now offer spa services.
These services are in addition to pleasant culinary surprises, fine
dining and vintage wines…all of which await you at one of our fine
Select Registry properties.
INNS WITH EXCEPTIONAL DINING - MAINE
Well known for its dining,
The
Blue Hill Inn hosts three wine dinners each year. These multi-course
dinners offer presentations of 4-5 carefully selected wines. The
dinners feature fresh organically raised produce and herbs, locally
raised meats or fowl, or fresh Maine seafood provided by a network
of local farmers and fishermen.
Breakfast is a special
time at the Camden
Maine Stay Inn. Guests can choose to sit at a table for two
on the sun porch which overlooks our lovely two acre garden or join
a convivial group of travelers at the large harvest table in the
dining room.
Chef Rachel and her talented
staff prepare and serve family-style, three-course breakfasts in
the Captain
Lord Mansion's atmospheric country kitchen. Breakfast begins
with choices, including fresh fruit, creamy French-vanilla yogurt,
and a flavorful granola-type cereal. The second course consists
of either made-from-scratch muffins or sweet breads served piping
hot from the oven to the table. Chef Rachel's main course varies
from day to day so that you will experience variety during your
visit. Choices may include one of the following scrumptious dishes;
Belgian waffles, blueberry pancakes, cream cheese stuffed French
toast, vegetable quiche, asparagus soufflé or a delicious egg and
cheese frittata with salsa.
Perhaps the most extraordinary
feature of the Crocker
House inn is its cuisine. While breakfast is reserved for guests,
the dining room is open to the public for dinner. Selections from
an ala carte menu are prepared to order, including the garden fresh
vegetables. Breads and desserts are made daily in the kitchen.

Goose
Cove Lodge is among the rare coterie of retreats where the kitchen

of local offerings: Maine raised lamb, chicken, and duck; organic
produce; the harvest of the inn's herb garden; fish and shellfish
freshly hauled from the sea by our friends, the local fishermen.
On Monday nights during high season children and adults gather together
for a lobster feast on the beach, adding an authentic Maine accent
to its delicious menu.

France.
